Michigan Works! Livingston Service Center offers a full range of employment-related services to help employers find skilled workers and to help job seekers find satisfying LCMW_buildingcareers. The Center, located in Howell, is part of the statewide Michigan Works! system of one-stop service centers designed to meet your needs. Oversight is provided by the Workforce Development Council.

Livingston County Michigan Works! is located in the Mott Community College - Livingston Center, 1240 Packard Drive, Howell. 

Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. M-F, except legal holidays.  In case of inclement weather, the Michigan Works! Livingston Service Center will be closed whenever Livingston County offices are closed. You can also listen to WHMI 93.5 FM for closing information.

Workshops for Job Seekers

Livingston County Michigan Works! offers a variety of workshops and seminars to help job seekers transition to a new career. Whether you need help with your resume, want to improve your interviewing skills, or plan to switch careers, you can get expert help by attending our workshops.  

If you are new to Michigan Works! you will want to attend our orientation and information program, “How Michigan Works! Works for You.,"  This program provides an overview of the career assessment services, job search services, training options and workshops available free to all job seekers. This workshop is an important first step for anyone who wants to take advantage of the many services available at the Livingston Service Center.
 
Our on-line calendar provides detailed information about all of our workshops.  You can also use the calendar to register for all workshops and seminars. By registering on-line, you will be guaranteed a spot at your chosen workshops. You will also be sent a convenient e-mail reminder.
