Michigan Works! Livingston Service Center offers a full range of employment-related services to help employers find skilled workers and to help job seekers find satisfying
careers. The Center, located in Howell, is part of the statewide Michigan Works! system of one-stop service centers designed to meet your needs. Oversight is provided by the Workforce Development Council.
Livingston County Michigan Works! is located in the Mott Community College - Livingston Center, 1240 Packard Drive, Howell.
Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. M-F, except legal holidays. In case of inclement weather, the Michigan Works! Livingston Service Center will be closed whenever Livingston County offices are closed. You can also listen to WHMI 93.5 FM for closing information.

Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve The 2012 Livingston Regional Job Fair will be held Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Crystal Gardens in Howell. Last year, more than 1,200 job seekers attended the event. As a special service to those who have served our country, the first hour of this year's Job Fair will be open to Veterans only.
Recruiters and Exhibitors
Last year more than 40 employers recruited at the Livingston Regional Job Fair. More than 20 Educational institutions and community agencies serving job seekers also exhbited.

11 a.m. to Noon - Open to Veterans, active military, Reservists and National Guard members only (please bring proof of Veterans status)

Preparing for the Job Fair
Prepartion is the key to a successful job fair. Livingston County Michigan Works! will offer workshops throughout March and April to help job seekers prepare for the event. You can register for these workshops at our calendar by clicking here.

Special Features
The Livingston Regional Job Fair offers a number of other features for job seekers. Human Resources professionals will be available throughout the day for a Quick Resume Reveiw. Workshops will be offered on a variety of topics of interest to job seekers. A laptop computer bank will be available so you can complete applications online. Many local businesses have also donated gift cards, gas cards, and merchandise as door prizes for attendees who complete a short survey as they leave the event.

Livingston County Michigan Works! offers a variety of workshops and seminars to help job seekers transition to a new career. Whether you need help with your resume, want to improve your interviewing skills, or plan to switch careers, you can get expert help by attending our workshops.
If you are new to Michigan Works! you will want to attend our orientation and information program, “How Michigan Works! Works for You.," This program provides an overview of the career assessment services, job search services, training options and workshops available free to all job seekers. This workshop is an important first step for anyone who wants to take advantage of the many services available at the Livingston Service Center.
Our on-line calendar provides detailed information about all of our workshops. You can also use the calendar to register for all workshops and seminars. Livingston County Michigan Works! and Mott Community College-Livingston Center are partnering with the Accounting Aid Society to offer free tax prepartion services at the Michigan Works! Livingston Service Center. Last year, these free services were offered at Howell Carnegie District Library.
These services are available to individuals with annual household income of $25,000 or less, or families with an annual household income of $50,000 or less.
