Workshops for Job Seekers

Livingston County Michigan Works! offers a variety of workshops and seminars to help job seekers transition to a new career. Whether you need help with your resume, want to improve your interviewing skills, or plan to switch careers, you can get expert help by attending our workshops.  

If you are new to Michigan Works! you will want to attend our orientation and information program, “How Michigan Works! Works for You.,"  This program provides an overview of the career assessment services, job search services, training options and workshops available free to all job seekers. This workshop is an important first step for anyone who wants to take advantage of the many services available at the Livingston Service Center. 
 
Our website provides detailed information about all of our workshops.  You can also use the calendar to register for all workshops and seminars. By registering on-line, you will be guaranteed a spot at your chosen workshops. You will also be sent a convenient e-mail reminder.
